Anna Lima chose the Dragon tree to represent Cape Verdean genealogy. She explains her choice:
When you look at it [the dragon tree], just as with their family trees, you don’t see individual branches, they look like clusters of strong tangled branches that support green leaves or lily-like flowers. We are the flowers supported by the strength of the branches who are our ancestors.
This blog focuses on the genealogical research and history of Cape Verde.
Join her on her journey to connect with her roots, discover the history and explore the Caboverdeanidade.
