Judy Nimer Muhn, Ed.M., FSA-Scot is celebrating her Valentine’s Day 9th blogiversary today! Lineage Journeys launched in 2023, but her very first website went live on 14 February 2016 and Judy has never looked back.
Judy was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan and currently resides in Milford, Michigan.
She is an extremely busy lady as she serves as a Board member, Awards Chair for the National Genealogical Society as well as serving as the current President of the Michigan Genealogical Council. Judy is also the current President of the Oakland County (MI) Genealogical Society and holds memberships in the French-Canadian Heritage Society and the Detroit Society for Genealogical Research.
As a genealogist, Judy decided the time had come for sharing stories about her journey researching her own family tree and documenting travels to locations of her ancestors. Since no one in her family shows much interest in her stories, she decided they needed to be shared online so that others would benefit from her knowledge. There’s even a possibility of a future book!
Today, her blogging goals are to not only share ancestral stories, but to share her experiences and content found along the research paths that she has taken, hoping for that cousin bait to entice others who have similar interests in genealogy.
Three posts that Judy would like to share:
- Journey to Ancestral Lands: My Spiritual Connection
- Oh, he’s gone!
- Nova Scotia – The Search for Ancestors
Did I mention that Judy’s a really busy lady? She didn’t say so, but Judy also gives talks to genealogical societies and she is the past secretary of GeneaBloggers.
Judy is active on multiple social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Blue Sky, and LinkedIn.
Please visit Judy at Lineage Journeys to read her latest stories and to leave blogiversary greetings.
