Jill Ball New Content Provider Team
Jill (GeniAus) Ball, a former librarian, teacher and IT specialist, is an amateur genealogist and grandmother of 12 from Sydney. In 2011 Jill was awarded Honorary Life Membership of The Australian School Library Association (NSW) in recognition of her commitment to teacher librarianship. Jill has presented at international, national and state education, IT and genealogy conferences. She has represented Australia as an Ambassador at each RootsTech conference. Jill serves on the Education Committee of The Society of Australian Genealogists and is an organizer of Hornsby Shire Family History Group.
Jill shares her passion and enthusiasm for social media, technology, and genealogy through her blog GeniAus (geniaus.blogspot.com), website (www.geniaus.net), social media and webinars and talks. On three occasions Jill has been voted by fellow genies as Australia’s Gold Genealogy Rockstar. Society affiliations include the Hawkesbury Family History Group (member), Hornsby Shire Family History Group (Communications and Social Media), The Society of Australian Genealogists (Education Committee Member), and The Surname Society (Newsletter Columnist).
