Jennifer Peace Willis has been blogging at Plough and Anchor Genealogy since 2017. She was raised in Los Angeles, but she now lives in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is a member of New England Historic Genealogical Society, and New York Genealogical and Biographical Society. She started blogging to share her findings and get better clarity on problems by writing about them.
Jennifer writes the purpose of her blog is to “tell the stories of interesting people and events I have discovered in my research, showing the methods and evidence I have used. My main areas of interest are my father-in-law’s County Mayo ancestors, my Texas-born mother-in-law’s ancestors throughout the American South, and my ancestors, mainly living in Dutch New York and New Jersey, colonial New England, Nova Scotia, French and Anglo-Protestant Quebec, the West Riding of Yorkshire, County Kerry and Clinton County, New York.”
