Elizabeth Ross started Mystery Dancer – A Journey of Discovery through an Antique Photo Album back in 2013. Elizabeth, a 2016 Webby Award Honoree, grew up in South Dakota, lived in New York City for 24 years, and now resides in Nashville Tennessee.
She already had a love for mysteries, creative writing, old photographs and stories when she found the photo album on which her blog is based. By blogging, she was able to “create a historical, narrative ‘treasure’ hunt to share with others.”
Elizabeth writes that the purpose of Mystery Dancer is “to excavate and tell the real-life and extraordinary story of an ordinary individual from a bygone era, exploring the links between the past, present, and future; the interconnectedness of all beings; and the value of a life lived.”
