True, who was born and raised in Pennsylvania, now resides in Kentucky where she’s a member of the Dauphin County Historical Society, Bullock County Historical Society, and Alabama Genealogical Society. She’s also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, is a co-Host and Panelist on Black Pro Gen LIVE, and serves on the GeneaBloggersTRIBE leadership team.
True writes, “My Blog is a personal Diary of family history on my Enslaved Granddaddy Ike Ivery along with my Lewis, Miles, Daniel Family with my Mother’s European Heritage. I started my Blog as a safe haven for my Ancestors 3 years to the Date and Time my Daddy passed away in Honor of all the Oral History I have been told since I was 9 years old. It was a way for me to share research and documents for family and friends.”
