Ann Raymont, CG has been blogging at DNAsleuth since 2015. Ann is originally from western New York and currently lives in Indiana. She belongs to ISOGG, APG, NGS, and local/regional genealogy and historical societies.
Ann began blogging because she was forming a DNA Special Interest Group in central Indiana and wanted a website to present static content about the group, a resource page, and a dynamic calendar of upcoming events. As she learned about WordPress, she realized it would be easy to include a monthly blog. This enables her to share what she learns about using DNA, especially in conjunction with genealogy. Her secondary goal is to encourage those who do not know her personally to take a DNA test and to reassure them that she is a credible researcher.
