Marian Burk Wood has been blogging at Climbing My Family Tree since 2008. She is Bronx, New York native who now enjoys the four seasons of New England. She is a member of Virtual Genealogy Association and 3 local genealogy clubs. She started blogging to chronicle her genealogy adventures and as “cousin bait.”
The purpose of Climbing My Family Tree is writing and rewriting the stories of her ancestors as she makes new discoveries and connecting with cousins. Marian is also the author of a genealogy book, “Planning a Future for Your Family’s Past.”
