Cathy Meder-Dempsey has been blogging since 2014 at Opening Doors in Brick Walls. Cathy says she was raised a military brat, and she finally settled down in Luxembourg. She is Treasurer of Luxracines a.s.b.l. The purpose of Opening Doors in Brick Walls is where Cathy writes about her ancestors from Luxembourg as well as Virginia and West Virginia in The USA. She also does a monthly post for the Slave Name Roll Project as a service to the community. Cathy credits Amy Johnson Crow with getting her started in 2014 with her 52 Ancestors in 52 Weeks challenge.
Cathy writes, “Blogging has helped me to become a much better genealogist and has helped me make the most wonderful friends.”
