Diane Gould Hall, aka Michigan Girl, has been blogging at Michigan Family Trails since 2010. She was born in Detroit, Michigan but she has spent most of her life in California, where she currently lives. Diane started blogging because she wanted to tell the stories of her ancestors, and to connect with new cousins.
Diane says the purpose of her blog is to bring her ancestors to life. She also shares tips about how to research, using Legacy, Evernote and DNA. She is a member of San Diego Genealogical Society, DAR, North San Diego Genealogical Society, Aberdeen & and Northeast Scotland Historical Society.
Diane writes, “I’m grateful to my readers for following me and for all the other bloggers out there who share their own wonderful stories and tips.”
Some of the surnames she is researching include: Bowden, Doller, Dorsey, Doten, Fink, Fitzcharles, Gillen, Gould, Hart, Hunter, Lindsay, Thorp and so many more.
