Linda D. Newman has been blogging at Linda Newman’s Family Tree Blog since 2011. She is from the far Northeast corner of California. She is a member of National Genealogical Society, and an American Legion Member. Linda says she started blogging as a way to share her genealogy research with the world. Linda says her blog is about a little bit of everything genealogy related. She writes, “Basically the only requirement to be included is that in some way, shape or form, the topic is related to genealogy.”
Some of the surnames that Linda is researching include: Newman, Bacon, Bridge, Griffis, Simmons, Halsey, Bingham, Boyer, Missimer, Reimeier, Bechtel, Antrim, Mason, Downey, Armstrong, Busch, Burnesteak, Masser, Shields, Crowley, Doten (Doty), Brown, Morgan, Niday, Murphy, Brown, George, Stiles, and Cuykendall.
Linda writes, “I have done DNA testing with Ancestry, 23andMe, transferred to Family Tree DNA, My Heritage and Gedmatch. Always happy to talk genealogy with those who share the passion to discover their roots!”
