Kathryn Creeden has been blogging at Kathryn’s Quest since 2011. She is a native Floridian and she has lived in Florida with the exception of a few years in Tennessee and Texas. Kathryn says she started blogging because she had a family history website on RootsWeb, but she was looking for a more dynamic way to share and preserve her research and discoveries. She also wanted to participate in some of the Geneabloggers prompts and network with others in the genealogy community. She has learned a lot along the way and it’s been a lot of fun! Kathryn writes, “The main purpose of my blog has been to share my personal family history, as well as lessons learned. Most of my ancestors are from Ohio and Maryland with roots going back to Ireland, the UK, and Germany, so I’ve concentrated on those localities.”
She is researching the following surnames: Creeden, Creedon, Councill, Pulskamp, Willis, Gast, Sparks, Matson, Niehaus, and Chilcutt.
