Brenda Leyndyke has been blogging at Journey to the Past. Brenda is President of Calhoun County (MI) Genealogical Society, on the Board of Michigan Genealogical Council, a member of National Genealogical Society, and a few other local Michigan societies. She was born in the “thumb” of Michigan, but she is living in the Cereal City-Battle Creek, Michigan. Brenda says that her daughter introduced her to blogging before she knew there were geneabloggers. She felt blogging was a good way to share her research and hopefully connect with cousins researching the same surnames. Brenda writes about her research finds, family stories, family photographs, resources in Michigan and local places of historical interest.
Some surnames that she is interested in include: Glover, Fredrick, Graf, Zastrow, Mast, Watt, Fenn, McGee, Dyer, and Poor.
