John D. Tew, J.D. has been blogging at Filiopietism Prism since 2012. He is a New Englander born in Providence, Rhode Island, but for many years he has been living in northern Virginia. John stated blogging as a way to preserve and share some of his genealogy research. John says the purpose of his blog is “Largely storytelling about the various branches of my family along with my thoughts about some issues and subjects of general interest to genealogists.”
Some of the surnames that John is researching include: Tew, Carpenter, Cooke, Freeman, Shearman, Eaton, Jeffs, O’Kane, Conner, and several others.
