Emily H. Garber has been blogging at Extra Yad since 2012. She was born and raised in Long Island, NY and has lived in Phoenix since 1976. She is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists. Emily started blogging to share information with family members, other genealogists and also for cousin bait. The purpose of her blog is for emphasis on Jewish genealogy, principally of Eastern European origin.
