Join us in welcoming Genes & History to our membership roll.
Erin Hill-Burns, who holds a Ph.D. in Genetics and has completed the Boston University Certificate Course for Genealogical Research, started Genes & History: Using genealogy to piece together families and their stories in January. Her goal is to record both her family history and her research process in the eastern United States, Ireland, England, and France. In doing so, she puts her years of research and data analysis experience to work to “solve puzzles, answer questions, and understand context.”
Erin is also a member of NextGen, the National Genealogical Society, the New York Genealogical and Biographical Society, the Capital District Genealogical Society, and the Schenectady County Historical Society.
