Linda Stufflebean created Empty Branches on the Family Tree on 14 January 2014 and has kept blogging at a steady pace ever since. Her husband thought she’d never stick with it! She has kept true to her original goal of sharing ancestral stories along with genealogy tips, tricks and resources.
She was born in Passaic, New Jersey and lived in Rhode Island and Mexico City, Mexico before settling in Southern California for 31 years. After retirement, she and husband Dave moved to Oro Valley, Arizona, just north of Tucson.
Linda is not only our Premium Membership Chair, but also a member of Virtual Genealogical Association, Utah Genealogical Association, American Ancestors and her local Pima County Genealogical Society.
Three recent posts which she’d like to share are
- It’s Not Online? Maybe It is! Accessing Unindexed Records
- Saturday Night Genealogy Fun: December Genea-Meme
- Methods to Sort Men of the Same Name: A Baker’s Dozen
Linda maintains a very low profile on social media, but visit Empty Branches on the Family Tree, leave a comment and she’ll get in touch.
