It’s time to celebrate Carol Kostakos Petranek’s 12th blogiversary.
Carol began Spartan Roots on Christmas Day, 25 December 2012 with the purpose of helping others how to research their Greek ancestors and to share information that she discovers about her own families in the Sparta region. Her main focus today is to educate people on researching in and around Sparta, Greece..
Carol, a resident of Silver Spring, Maryland, is lucky to have what many of us might consider to be a dream job as she is the Co-Director of the Washington D.C. FamilySearch Center.
Three posts that Carol would like to share;
- Beyond the Basics: Contracts
- Reviving the Soul of a Village
- Adding to the Family Tree: Mt. Olivet Cemetery
Carol can be found on Facebook.
Please visit Spartan Roots to say hello to Carol. Be sure to wish her a happy blogiversary, too!
