Spotlight Lineage Journeys with the Lineage Journeys logo and spotlights with Geneabloggers.com at the bottom

GeneaBloggers has two blogiversaries to celebrate this month. Today, we congratulate Judy Nimer Muhn, Ed.M., FSA-Scot on her 8th blogiversary. Judy has authored Lineage Journeys since 2013.

Judy is a lifelong Michigander, born in Detroit and now living in Milford, Michigan. She is a busy lady, genealogically speaking, as she is a member of the National Genealogical Society, French-Canadian Heritage, the Oakland County Genealogical Society, the Detroit Society for Genealogical Research and she is currently serving as secretary on the GeneaBloggers Board.

She has recently retired as an Organizational Development Consultant, which has freed up her time for more blogging, genealogy and time to write that book she’s always wanted to do about her female ancestors.

Along with a suggestion from her book publisher, when Judy originally began blogging, she wrote about personal topics of interest – how to write stories about feelings, spirituality and memories. Today, her focus is on genealogy research, the discoveries that help her tell the stories and reporting conferences that she attends.
