GeneaBlogger Doris Kenney has had a busy year. She launched A Tree With No Name and is celebrating her first blogiversary today. She is also the newly elected President of Geneabloggers!
Doris was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland and still resides there. She was a writer before becoming a blogger, but shared that “Life got in the way,” and she “had stopped writing for several years.” However, she was inspired by the many genealogy bloggers she follows and decided to combine her passion for genealogy with her love of writing, which made her a natural for blogging.
Her blogging goal is to share her own research journey and the tips/tricks she is continually learning along the way.
Here are three posts that Doris would like to share:
Doris has social media links on her blog to X, Bluesky and Mastodon, but she is most active on Threads.
Please wish Doris a happy 1st blogiversary and be sure to thank her for leading Geneabloggers for 2024-2026 as our new President.
