Your Family History Expo lineup is very exciting. My husband and I are genealogical researchers, always interested in honing our skills and mixing with people like us. So we would be making difficult choices on your list of speakers. We both are drawn to Mark Tucker's presentation on Genealogical Proof Standards as valuable sourcing instruction. I would hope to attend the presentations pertaining to German Research by Baerbel Johnson to assist me in uncovering further details of my stubborn ancestors. And it appears we would receive good ideas for researching from Geoffrey Rasmussen's on Timelines and Chronologies and Lisa Cooke's on Solving Family Mysteries with Google Earth. I am also very psyched about hearing Thomas MacEntree on Becoming a Genealogy Blog User as I hope to develop my own genealogy blog soon. Thanks for offering this event.

I'm already planning to attend the Expo, and I've really excited to learn from the experts who are presenting. Most of my ancestors are from Germany, so I'm especially interested in the seminars on that subject. I wish I could attend every single one of the topics!

I have been an operating room nurse for 40 years--saving lives...loved it. Now time to work on saving ancestors lives. I am studying to be a certified geneologist so the Expo will be an exciting place to acquire knowledge and 'tid-bits'.

There is life beyond nursing and raising a family of 5 (18 grandchildren).

Warmest Regards, Eileen

Well I would love to finish what my grandfather started but I strongly feel this would be a good start for me. By going to this expo. Since my grand father past away he was not able to complete his famliy tree. See I would love to do it was both sides of my families so when my children ask me about my family and people that have past I can tell them and it would be some thing I can hopefully pass on to them.
