Jennifer Geraghty-Gorman

My working life is that of a historian and writer.  I hold three university degrees: B.A.,  B.A. (Hons.), M.A., and I am engaged in extensive study of the history of Ireland,. My principle area of focus for my current history work is Irish Conflict, with concentration on the Irish War of Independence. Family history research is not only an integral part of my work, but an important part of my life, and I am dedicated to the search for the stories of my ancestors (while having fun along the way).  Firmly committed to the use of original documents, I conduct research almost exclusively in Ireland, and spend part of each summer/fall there. I actively work to find reliable web content which will help other researchers working to uncover their own Irish family history.
