As of today (13 Oct 2012) the site is taken down. Tried going to it and all I get is a 403 Forbidden error code. May be temporary, but hopefully they are history… again.

I agree hole hearted with what Thomas has said. Why should someones hard work be scammed and allowed to be used without their permission?
Good on you for trying to track the culpretes. You have my entire support in this matter.

JL – it doesn’t matter if the site links back to the original post, They are still taking content – my content – an using it on their site without permission. They may not have AdSense or any other ads now, but who knows what the site will morph into down the road. This particular person has a track record of setting up these splog sites perhaps only for reasons known to them.

In addition, allowing a site like this to take content only gives others a sense that they too can just lift items from a blog or website without permission.

I don’t understand. That site is linking at the bottom of each post back to the original author. The ads are intact as they are on the original sites. There is no Adsense income because there is no AdSense being used.

I don’t understand what the ‘thief’ is getting out of this. Nothing that I can see.

Wow! This guy is stealing everybody’s stuff – James Tanner, Dear Myrtle, Chris Patton, Ancestry.com. Everyone needs to take a look and respond as Thomas suggests.
