He’s known as one of the “old-timers”, and it has nothing to do with his age. It has to do with his genealogy and blogging experience.

May I Introduce to You…Randy Seaver?

Randy is the author of four blogs: The Geneaholic, Randy’s Busy Life, Chula Vista Genealogy Cafe, and, of course, Genea-Musings.  I think it’s fair to say that Randy is most known for his Genea-Musings blog.  He started that blog in April 2006 with his first post Who? Me? Blog? OK….  From that first tentative posting, Randy has taken to blogging like a duck to water.  He’s a natural.  And it’s easy to see his passion is genealogy.

If you want to keep up with what is going on in the genealogy world, then look now further than Genea-Musings.  Randy knows what’s going on and regularly posts about it.  If you are wanting to add a bit of fun to your genealogy life, then check out Randy’s weekly post Saturday Night Genealogy Fun.  If you don’t have time to read all of the genea-blogger’s blogs, then check out Best of the Genea-Blogs.  Randy says “My criteria for “Best of …” are pretty simple – I pick posts that advance knowledge about genealogy and family history, address current genealogy issues, provide personal family history, are funny or are poignant. I don’t list posts destined for the genealogy carnivals, or other meme submissions (but I do include summaries of them), or my own posts.”
