GeneaBloggers announces the release of a useful editorial calendar for genealogy and family history bloggers! Download in PDF format here or use the published form here and you’ll be on your way to planning out your genealogy blog posts for the week or month!
Included on the calendar:
- Major holidays and observations for the United States, Canada, United Kingdom and Australia.
- Quirky events such as The Ides of March or National Clean Off Your Desk Day.
- Religious holidays and observations.
- Complete listing of all the Daily Blogging Prompts for each day.
- Listings for the weekly series 52 Weeks of Personal Genealogy & History.
The goal of this editorial calendar, to be released on a quarterly basis, is to not only provide inspiration for your blog prompts but also to help you plan and pre-post at your genealogy blog.
Your feedback is welcome and your input will help develop a useful tool for the genealogy blogging community.

Great idea! Especially like having the 52 Weeks series topics in advance.
Thank you! I especially like it that the weekly prompts for 52 Weeks of Personal Genealogy & History are on there. That way I can plan ahead for a post. Last year, often I didn’t post because I didn’t have time that particular week.
