Mary Fisher Edwards Puryear was my ancestor. Mary’s mother was Martha R Fisher. She was Samuel Puryear’s second wife. She had previously been married to Peter Edwards and Mary was their daughter. Martha, Alexander, and Mary appear to have moved to Monroe about the same time.
