So don’t necessarily overlook the “.info”, “.us,” or “.biz” verisons. People need to understand that titles are not copyrightable. As you mention, however, a title which is a trademark or service mark has some legal protection. Finally, once you’ve got the Whois info, you might check the ISP’s terms of use. The copycat may be in violation of his ISP’s TOS.
