I would use the quicksheet to record citations as I research my ancestors who were enslaved in the Caribbean. I don’t have any info about them yet so I’m excited to have systematic a way to document my sources from the “get-go”!

I am currently researching my friends african american heritage and am not as familiar with the records of importance available out there. As I am hoping to do more of this work for other friends it would be a valuble tool for me. I also would like to encourage my african american friends to take up their family history and impart the importance of giving a voice to their ancestors who didn’t have one. To be able to have some of this information at my fingertips would be fantastic and be a great tool to jumpstart others on their journey.

If I had one of your sheets, I use it to help break down the walls I’ve got on two Clients who are African American and having a really hard time finding their roots.
My work on their accounts is teaching me alot, but I must admit there are different angles researching african american family history that really don’t come into play with the everyday family history research!
If I don’t win can you at least direct me towards a place to purchase one? Please!

I work with African American patrons on a daily basis in the state library. This would be a terrific resource to use while helping them with their research.
