Today is Madness Monday. If you have your own genealogy or family history related blog, you can participate in Madness Monday. What is it?

Madness Monday is a daily blogging theme used by many genealogy bloggers to help them post content on their sites.

To participate in Madness Monday simply create a post with the main focus being an ancestor who may have suffered from some form of mental illness or an ancestor who drives you “mad” because you have trouble locating them or locating more information about them. You can read more about Madness Monday here at gene@pedia.

music

This week’s edition of Saturday Night Genealogy Fun (SNGF) organized by Randy Seaver of the Genea-Musings blog has been posted.  This week’s theme involves selecting your all time favorite song and then posting on your blog as to why it is your favorite and what memories the song brings back.  See Randy’s post for details on how you can participate.

Many genealogy bloggers have participated so far and it is still late Saturday morning in some parts. Below is a listing of the last blog posts and here is a link to all the posts.
